Vietnam's weather varies by season and city. Hanoi and Saigon are hot and humid year-round, with a rainy season (May–September) and dry season (October–April). Hoi An is similar but slightly cooler. The dry season is more reliable for consistent light and less chance of drizzle. The rainy season is moodier—dramatic skies, lush greens, but you need flexibility. Your book-ahead time matters too. During peak months (October–March), couples plan 4–6 weeks out. Shoulder months (April, September) are easier. Rainy season (May–August) is quieter and gives us more flexibility. Whatever season you're visiting, book as soon as you know your dates. A pre-wedding shoot is the main event, but it doesn't exist in isolation. Many couples add makeup and hair for other wedding events—like a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch.
